One word to describe this place — massive. Walking around Liberty Square during a hot and humid day was definitely not my cup of tea, but the buildings were pretty impressive. Unfortunately, Eugene did not seem too impressed with me taking another candid photo of him. Oh well!
I made my second trip back to Taiwan in June to visit the boyfriend. We spent most of our time travelling between Zhongli and Taipei. I believe our first stop was to the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, and the National Theatre and Concert Halls. Upon our arrival we found ourselves witnessing the changing of the guards. Among the various things that we had walked through in the building, I stumbled upon an old karaoke machine, which more-or-less looks like some sort of keyboard-radio-stereo hybrid.
